What's it like
A nice wave, good for surfing, flatspinning, looping and pirouetting. Even cartwheels and blunts are possible when there's high water on the Maas. If the water is higher than 350 on the Maas there's a good change it's OK.
Only play here when the river-wide metal plate is down. If it's up, the spot becomes very dangerous. Several people already drowned there, so BE CAREFUL!
How to get there
On the E25 from Luik/Liege, take exit 48 to the right, then after 20 minutes you go left in the direction of Durbuy. After 15 minutes you are in Bomal and from there you go to Barvaux. When you are in Barvaux, follow direction Tohogne and after 15 seconds you'll see the bridge over the Ourthe. Park your car on the big parking place. The wave is 100 meters downstream.

Locals
The police station is 50 meters from the playspot, so keep the noise down: they tend to send noisy people away.
