Steyermark, River Laussa, Laussa Falls

Waterfall: Austria, Steyermark, River Laussa, Laussa Falls

What's it like

A great 7 meter jump straight into a big pool, with the best line being the main stream.

Surrounding WW is class IV.

The most dangerous part is making the climb down from the Street.

The temperature varies according to the weather. The best time is between April and June.

How to get there

From Vienna, follow the A1 until Amstetten-west, then drive on the B121 across "Waidhofen an der Ybbs" until Weyer. Now continue on the B115 until Altenmarkt near St Gallen (in the Enns-Valley in Austria). Go through Altenmarkt, and just prior to crossing the bridge over the river Enns turn left in the direction Hengstpass, Oberlausse, Windischgarten. Then drive about one and a half kilometers alongside the Enns river and turn left on the bridge into the Laussa Valley. From this bridge you can already see the fall.
