The construction of SZ 2004 is based on an extremely sturdy ash wooden frame with frames from water resistantly glued Finnish birke. These materials are proven decades in view to elasticity and stability. The completely new fitting system made of high-grade steel guarantees an easy and fast structure. The boat skin consists of a high-tear-firm Treviragewebe with a special weaving. The foldable longitudinal frame is made of varnished high quality ash. The 5 ribs, made of nine - ply glued Finnish birch, are highly durable and withstand torsion. For the kayak's hull we used materials of three-layered construction, which consists of outer layers of waterproof material on a cotton fabric, which is highly resistant to damage resulting from exposure to ultra violet radiation, salt water and low temperatures. The deck material is made of impregnated breathable cotton fabric.
