The Haida is the "big brother" of our Tripper model. It shares all the same handling characteristics of the 16 foot canoe but it's a bit wider and a bit longer. That gives it extra carrying capacity without changing speed or handling. The Chestnut Canoe Company responded to the need for a lightweight canoe well suited to solo tripping and casual tandem paddling by introducing the versatile Bob's Special. While the canoe was very stable due to its larger than normal width, the hull shape was optimized for performance resulting in a canoe that was remarkably fast. Our version is based on the Chestnut original with some improvements to increase speed and sea worthiness.

This is the ultimate blend of sea kayak and racing kayak. Stable with great straight line speed, this boat is different to any other sea kayak on the market. Due to its raised front deck, the Razor is able to cope with the choppiest water, yet it is designed for speed.
