Together, they have spent years designing boards at the testing grounds of Makaha Beach. When they designed the 1st known 10' SUB (stand up board), they took the sport to a new level. Dave won the 2008 Noosa Surfing Festival for SUP surfing Event on this board, and with stiff competition. The XP "Vortice" is a hollow, carbon-fiber version of the fastest SUP paddleboard we could come up with in 4 years of races in Hawaii, and is intended to be the foundation of a 'stock' class in the increasing number of races held in the Islands.
