The Maxi Poke Boat II® is ideal for people looking for even more room than the Vagabond and incredible stability. Longer and much wider, this boat offers the ultimate blend of size and lightweight for camping, fishing, hunting, or family outings. The trade-off is a little heavier boat and somewhat slower speed.

The Vagabond® is a two person boat in the tradition of European touring canoes and is most at home gliding on open oceans, lakes, streams, or marshes. It is an excellent bird watching or fishing boat as it is very STABLE and comfortable. Its 46 lb. weight and ease of paddling, along with large storage area for camping and touring, makes it an excellent choice for people who want a boat superior to a canoe.

The Maxi Poke Boat® is ideal for larger people, or for those who wish to kneel (especially for fly fishing). Believe it or not, it's also stable enough to let you stand while poling. However, we don't recommend this unless you have the required skill -- so practice, practice, practice! The trade off for this added stability is a slightly heavier weight and somewhat slower speed.

The Micro Poke Boat® is the lightest and smallest of the Pokes -- able to fit inside the back of a pickup truck or van. No this is not just a toy or child's boat (although kids will really be able to carry and use this boat by themselves). We have maintained as many of the original Poke Boat's® features, while shortening the length. While she tracks very well for her size, she will require more control than the full-sized Poke, and won't be quite as fast. But hey, if you're looking for lightweight, we've surely got what you want.

All have found that a STABLE lightweight boat allows them access to the outdoors when no other boat can!

Introducing our new HUKI Tandem Z, two person Outrigger Canoe! We've been testing and adjusting her since September 2004 in the Northern California WaveChaser Races and in Southern California's racing circuit...She's a hit! ...Dead center, bulls eye!

Developed & designed by Jude Turczynski and Wayne Kocher in the Spring of 2009, V2-X is a high volume all conditions two person canoe that out runs the V2-Z on the flats and has enough volume for a variety of paddlers and conditions. Wayne Kocher shaped her from a V2-Z, moderating the rocker and boosting volume at all critical points by increasing the beam (width) by one inch and raising the gunwales along the cockpits and aft deck. Wayne placed a pair of low set cockpits with high supportive side walls like those found in the newly redesigned 2009 V1-X that he shaped earlier this year. The lower rear cockpit allows a lot more clearance for the rear paddler to reach under the front iako. Wayne placed a water parting ridge along the entire fordeck so pearling is limited to short events.

The V1-Z is one of our latest OC-1 designs introduced in July of 2004. The "Z" is our first OC-1 to be conceived with the aid of a computer. Designed and developed by Jerry Montgomery, with input from myself as director, we developed her from Jerry's CAD drawing and calculations. Jerry shaped the first plug and built various prototypes until we came up with the production "Z". We wanted a canoe that was much more versatile than our previous V1-A and STEALTH, for a wider range of water conditions and paddler heights & weights. We wanted her to be our fastest canoe on flat water without sacrificing the big water abilities. She's shorter than our V1-B and less bulky than our V1-A. She's super stable to keep up with current surfing and racing techniques used by the talented crowd in outrigger sport. We applied everything we've learned through all of our design and development years together. The result is a TOTALLY new and dynamic hull design with a fantastically awesome cockpit fit and feel.
