About Me
The Prijon Creeker 225 is a very strongly constructed kayak which has provided me with a vice-free platform for the past year paddling class 2/3 creeks and rivers in Australia.

Rivers/creeks to class 3 paddled include: Barron River (Cairns), Tully River, (Tully Gorge), Cattle Creek, Pioneer River and O'Connell River (Whitsunday, Goolang Creek and Little Nymboida River (Dorrigo/Nymboida, NSW).
Pros / The Good
It rolls easily, surfs well, boofs and ferry glides effectively and the semi-planing hull carves cleanly. The boat holds a line well and surfaces from drops under control while being quite nimble on river. I can not name a vice. The boat is well suited to whatever level of difficulty the paddler's skill matches. A friend regularly paddles class 5 creeks in North Queensland and raves about its ability. Certainly, at my intermediate level it eats up anything at a class 3 standard. (The human is the problem!) The paddler should be less than 80 kgs or 175 lbs and not much taller than 180 cms or 5'11". Any larger, go up to the next creeker, the Cross. The hull plastic is tough, so much so that the boat does not have central pillars which gives plenty of knee room. Wet exiting is fine, the cockpit is large. The outfitting is comfortable with seat-belt style adjusting of the foot bar.

Air bags, forrad and aft, come standard. Plenty of deck hardware for pin rescue or carriage. In Australia the boat is very well priced.

Without hesitation, for a smaller paddler, I recommend this excellent and vice-free boat.
Cons / The Bad
The back support works on a bungee hook system which sometimes is a wee bit fumbly and the hip pads are pretty ordinary and now well gaffer-taped in place!
