Hi everybody,
is there someone out there who knows any good class ww III-IV rivers in Zwitzerland? Me and a friend is going there 25-28 and if youi also know where to rent a kayak Ill be very happy.

Its not really the best time of year. Unless it rains a lot you will be struggling to find good paddling. If it does rain, then rivers like the Doubs, Sarine, Vorderrhein, Inn 'might' have some water.

All the snow/glaciermelt rivers have usually gone to bed till next year.

Sorry cant be more helpful but it is really not the best season for paddling in the Alps.

Hi, thanks for the help. Well thats what I thought. Hmm same thing here (Norway) dancing raindance everyday now. Well maybe we going mountainbiking instead.

But still, thanks, keeping your tip until next itme, this time it was because of a work thing and we were going anyway. Always try to sneak in a river or two.

Never know you might get lucky - here is a good website for Swiss river levels:

www.hydrodaten.admin.ch/e/index.htm

For each gauge, you can see 7 and 40-day graphics which gives you a good idea of what might be possible.
