Rugby World Cup 2007 17 years 5 months ago #18744

Any bets as to who you think will win the world cup?

South Africa or England? Let's hear it... Too bad about NZ and Australia.

There has been some very bad refereeing. Bloody hell :bitching: I'm sure there has been match fixing going on in several games. Dodgy refs.

South Africa beat England 36 to zero. But England didn't have old Johnny Wilkenson during that game. Without him they are lost. He's a really good player though. Thumbs up to him.

Let's see what happens. It's not over till it's over.. :roflol:

wilkinson is a really good player england just use him to kick teams off the park by forcing errors. but hes not the best kicker anymore! chris patterson is:yes: i cant remember the last time he missed! 100% record all wc and i think in the last 6 nations as well.

It would be terrible for world rugby if England won again. There style is rugby is boring, boring, boring! The forwards rumble the ball forward to within striking range, wait for the penalty, call Johnny. No attempt is made to use the backs to score tries.
The South African rugby style is exciting to watch and they are not afraid to use their backs to actually score tries. Every time Bryan Habana gets the ball you know something is going to happen.
Go the Springbokke!

Argentina kicked some ass. Nice.

Let's see what happens tonight. Go Bokke! :roflol: People here in Jhb are driving around hooting with flags from their windows of their cars. It's pretty hectic. I'm sure the parties will be big.

But I won't count my chicken before they hatch. England is there for a reason afterall... Lata

Yeah, VIVA South Africa :bounce:  :bounce:

People partied hard here... The hooting and screaming in the streets of my usually quiet suburb went on for quite a while.

Well done to England though for putting up a very good fight. :notworthy:
