Feb 18 Social Instagram This was by far the coolest wildlife encounter we had in the Bahamas! This is the Exuma Island Iguana, endemic to the islands and considered 'critically endangered'. These guys were all over us on one island, sniffing, staring, stalking... It was hard to have a moments rest, and eventually we let them run us off the island... This one we named Milhouse - he would see us and run as fast as he could straight at us... Then follow us along the beach. :) #trakkayaks #kokatat #kayaking #intothewater @trakkayaks
Feb 17 Social Instagram Exumas Cays cont'd. Much of the water was only a metre deep or so, making for incredible water colours and much exploring... #trakkayaks #kokatat #kayaking #intothewater @trakkayaks
Feb 17 Social Instagram Starting to post pictures from our none day trip to the Exuma Cays.. After provisioning in Georgetown, we hitched a ride to the end of Great Exuma Island with a local Bahamian.. He dropped us off at the end of a rough dirt road in the abandoned community of Anne's Tract. We took advantage of the derelict, abandoned bar to assemble the two golfing Trak kayaks we brought with us... Good times were a coming.. Will all the rum fit?? #trakkayaks #kokatat #kayaking #intothewater @trakkayaks
Feb 2 Social Instagram Versatility, check. Two folding TRAK kayaks in the back of a very small car! Heading off for a two week sea kayak traverse of the Exuma Island chain in the Bahamas!! The plan is to paddle north from Great Exumas as far north as we can, before being picked up by a small charter plan. Got to love trips where the route will be based by how much rum we can carry. :) #trak #trakkayaks #kayaking #kokatat #imdrinkingrum @trakkayaks
