Oct 3 Social Instagram @jimmytqb from @qbpaddles displaying extraordinary balance in an Olympic sprint canoe. Watch us (try to) learn a new sport in today's Insta Story! °°° @lincolndews @harrymaskell @wheresbossman /// These high-kneel sprint canoes have a waterline width of about 11 inches -- half as wide as today's narrowest SUP race boards. They also have a rounded bottom and no fin, which all combines to make them extremely difficult to balance even on one knee ...let alone standing up like this. But that's what happens when you're a 4x Olympian like Jimmy. They say that SUP should be in the Olympics? It's technically already there! °

Oct 1 Social Standup Journal FB The Ching is back! Danny Ching made a clear statement today in the men's quarter finals for the technical race at the PPGs. Where Ching hasn't been racing much on the public circuit and recently focused on his family with wife Leah, a lot of folks dropped him from their predictions for this year's Games. However, in today's men's technical race, Danny not only CRUSHED the field in his heat, Heat 2, but his time beat the lead pack - led Connor Baxter, Michael Boothe & Lincoln Dews - in Heat 1 by a FULL MINUTE. As Kalama said in today's commentary, 'Danny Ching is here for real!' Watch for more live action tomorrow as we see the Distance Races and Technical Semis and Finals for both Men & Women at this year's 2017 Pacific Paddle Games.
