A kayak tournament that incorporates 20 miles of paddling and navigating while trying to hook into the biggest fish. Met this fat guy in about a foot of water and then got towed around like a sled dog.

Apr 3 Social Instagram This morning a sponsor called and asked for an environmental sup image for a couple of adventure magazine ads. The choice was easy, dams. I make much of my living paddling the Colorado so I spent my lunch break in Glenwood at the Shoshone dam. Water is a big issue especially in California with the drought situation. Here they afford year round recreation and allow us to hold water back for agriculture and desperate days. This one also diverts water for hydroelectric. But they are very harmful in many ways.
