It brings back good memories, adventurous non-fiction reads, including 'Fearless', a biography of Freya Hoffmeister, a woman I sea kayaked with during my 2006 kayak circumnavigation of Newfoundland. I have met the McGuffins, Bernie Howgate, Jon Bowermaster, Maria Coffey, Victoria Jason, Chris Duff, and several other kayak authors. For me, kayaking is healing, as is reading inspirational books. Decluttering feels healing as well as I practise detachment.
