She won a gold and a silver medal (Masters Tandem Women Rec and Tandem Women Rec respectively), with her partner Beth Kennedy, and a bronze medal in Women X. Notre ambassadrice Gigi aux Championnats Nord-Américain de Slalom en Canot, à Minden en Ontario. My mind is constantly bouncing from one thing to the next and trying to make it relax can be exhausting. Nature however, seems to be the great catalyst. There is something about connecting with nature and the outdoors, especially through paddling, that leaves you feeling calm and relaxed. Perhaps it's beauty of the sun finally peaking through the cloud, reflecting off the surface of the water, and banishing the morning cold. It could be giving your undivided attention to the rhythm your 1000s of paddle strokes that you complete each day.
